Paddlers learn efficient paddling techniques and proper body positioning. |

You'll learn
basic paddling skills before setting out on the sheltered water in the
Earman River just behind our kayak shop.
Your guide will be along to answer any questions, give pointers, or
just share a good story.
- The trip
paddles through the Village of North Palm Beach, but don't let the urban
setting fool you. Be on the lookout for a wide variety of marine
life as you explore the calm waters .
- Your investment
includes use of your paddleboard, pfd, paddle and the knowledge and
good spirits of our staff.
What will I learn?
Basics
- Stance - How to stand to be comfortable yet efficient
- Getting on the board - There is an easy way!
- Finding your equilibrium
- Holding the paddle
- Efficient paddling strokes
- Turning
- Stopping
The goal of this class is to properly introduce the novice
paddler to the fun of Stand Up Paddleboards, teaching you to paddle
efficiently, and to be confident and comfortable as you join the
"paddleboard revolution".
